London, United Kingdom: The Quintessential Urban Canvas

London, a city where ancient history meets modern marvels, is a treasure trove for street and architectural photographers.

The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye offer classic shots. Try to capture them during different times of the day for varying light and moods.

The following picture about Big Ben has been taken using mobile telephone which automatically adjust the focal point-in this case adjusted to f/1.8, an exposure time of 1/123 s, ISO-100 and a focal length of 60mm-. Unlike digital cameras (DSLR) -such as Canon EOS T6i- the adjustment of the focal point lower than f/3.0 is not possible automatically. The only way is getting extra lenses, which result in much higher resolution and quality.

As for the color temperature I had to use Photoshop to increase exposition just a little, the latter because as you know the sky of London is most of the year grey and only 48 days are sunny days a year.

Its obvious that I was standing on the opposite side of the road which offers a head-on view of the iconic landmark. The sign pointing to "Trafalgar Square" further grounds the location.

Wiesbaden, Germany: Elegance Amidst Nature

Often overlooked, Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse, Germany, is a city of elegant architecture, thermal baths, and lush green spaces.
